Yes, you do! Each person is unique and the plan has to be unique as well. Everything from the meal plans, selected foods, supplements recommended and lifestyle strategies are all tailored to the person's individual health, goals and needs.
+ What in the world is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist?
A holistic nutritionist looks at the person as a whole: the mind, the body and the spirit. This is where each person is unique. I look at your stress levels, the thoughts you think, what body system may be out of balance, trauma, your physical and lifestyle choices. I look for ways to bring the person into homeostasis (balance). I will show you the root cause of the issue and teach you how to listen to your body's messages.
+ Is this a food based program?
Sure is! But that's not all of it. As your digestive system is where you break down food and absorb its nutrients, it is critical to make sure that all is working well. It is the foundation for your health and well being. That doesn’t mean that the program is only food. It also incorporates taking a look at your lifestyle habits, your stressors, your thoughts or meanings for things. These are all components of a holistic approach to your health.
+ Do I have to take a bunch of supplements?
In our 20’s ,30’s beyond, we see a decrease in certain areas of our body. We need to support these areas to optimize digestion, liver, balance hormones, and support our adrenals and brain function. These are recommended to optimize your success and I will fully explain why it is needed. While I do often make supplements and superfood recommendations, these are something that you purchase over and above the cost of the program.
